AMD’s Zen6 architecture, which is goes by the two codenames Gator Range and Medusa Point, may only be making an appearance as early as 2027. That is, if the most recent leak by prominent leakster momomo_us is anything to go by.
momomo_us posted what is considered to be an unofficial roadmap for the two chipmakers, AMD and Intel, and their plans for their respective CPU lineup. Based on the chart for AMD, the red chipmaker will continue its Fire Range mobile CPU lineup well into next year, while only bringing in its Gator Range into play by 2027.
On that same chart, the red CPU and GPU maker will be focusing on the follow-up of its Strix Point, Gorgon Point, in 2026. Gorgon Point isn’t new, having been mentioned in earlier reports. Basically, it’s an improved version of Strix and still based on the TSMC 4nm architecture, just with a slightly more powerful NPU. It’s successor, Medusa Point, will be built around the more advanced 3nm process node, and like Gator Range, is expected to feature Zen6 CPU cores and an FP10 socket.
As for Intel, there’s little surprise as to what the blue chipmaker and new darling of the US government is releasing. At this stage, it’s basically common knowledge that the company will be launching its Panther Lake lineup sometime in 2026, as will its more energy-efficient U-Series Wildcat Lake lineup.

Again, the roadmaps presented by momomo_us aren’t official, meaning that there is a chance the details presented could be outdated. However given their track record, it’s safe to assume that their sources came from someone or somewhere reliable.
