The Redmi Note 15 series made its debut in China this week, and as usual, the phones will find their way to the global market with some changes. While Xiaomi has yet to officially announce anything on these global versions, some details have already started to emerge.
According to a firmware dive, the global Redmi Note 15 Pro+ will not feature the same camera setup as the Chinese model. The Chinese version sports a triple setup comprising a 50MP main shooter, a 50MP telephoto lens with 2.5x zoom, and an 8MP ultrawide unit. Apparently, the brand has decided to leave the telephoto unit out of the global version of the phone.
This is similar to the company’s approach with its Redmi Note 14 series. However, while the global Redmi Note 14 Pro+ replaces the telephoto camera with a macro sensor, this will reportedly not be the case with the Redmi Note 15 Pro+.
Other than that, the phone will apparently pack a smaller battery with a 6,500mAh capacity. For comparison, the model released for the brand’s home market is equipped with a 7,000mAh cell. However, the global variant is said to come with 100W charging. This is an improvement over the Chinese version’s 90W speed.

Of course, these details do not come directly from Xiaomi. Therefore, it’s best to take the information here with a grain of salt.
