Edifier Malaysia officially launched two new products this month. The first is the Neobuds Pro 3 TWS earbuds, while the second are the MR5 speakers.
Starting with the Edifier Neobuds Pro 3, the earbuds are powered by an armature and dynamic driver combo and a fine-tuned Digital Signal Processor (DSP). Additionally, the earbuds are powered by its Wideband Multichannel ANC that cuts noise by up to -50dB, across a 4kHz bandwidth.
The Neobuds Pro 3 also has a 4+4 microphone array, complete with noise cancellation for clear calls, plus a 0.08s ultra-low latency when in Gaming Mode. Connectivity is conducted via Bluetooth 5.4, while Edifier boasts that its battery life is rated for 36 hours of continuous playback, or 24 hours if ANC is turned on. Also, 15 minutes of charging will give you three hours of playback, and they are IP54 dust and splash-resistant.

Moving down the list, the MR5 studio speakers, designed in the traditional bookshelf box. Specs-wise, each speaker is equipped with a 5-inch woofers, 3.75-inch mid drivers, and 1-inch silk dome tweeters, each powered by their own amplifier.
Edifier says that the MR5 has a flat frequency response between 46Hz and 40kHz for “accurate sound reproduction”, and a 110W RMS tri-amped design.
The desktop monitors are also Hi-Res Audio and Hi-Res Wireless certified with LDAC Support, and supports multiple input options, including XLR, TRS, RCA, AUX, and multipoint Bluetooth pairing. As the system is wireless, you can also tweak its EQ via the brand’s dedicated ConneX app.
The Edifier MR5 retails at RM1,289.
