Zeekr Malaysia has released the specifications of its upcoming 7X electric SUV on its official website, ahead of the vehicle’s local launch. The EV was first shown during the Malaysian Auto Show (MAS 2025) and, at that time, the automaker unveiled an indicative price for the first 500 customers.
It was also revealed that the Zeekr 7X comes in three variants for the Malaysian market, which are the RWD Standard, RWD Long Range and AWD Performance. According to the brochure that was released, the SUV shares almost the design elements across the different variants.
Features such as the LED headlights, LED daytime running lights, frameless doors and mirrors, full-width taillights, clamshell hood, and panoramic roof are available for all three variants. However, only the AWD Performance variant comes with a flowing Stargate LCD display at the front fascia. Another difference in the exterior is the wheel size, where the Standard and Long Range trims get 19-inch wheels, while the Performance trim gets 20-inch wheels.
Interior-wise, all three variants come with a leather steering wheel, 36 storage compartments, 14-way driver seat adjustments and 10-way passenger seat adjustments. Meanwhile, the first two variants get leatherette seats, while the Performance trim gets Nappa leather seats. Furthermore, only the Long Range and Performance variants come with ventilated and massage-equipped front seats. Another aspect that is not present in the Standard variant is the power-adjustable steering wheel.
In terms of connectivity, the Zeekr 7X features a 13.02-inch instrument cluster and 16-inch infotainment system and, according to the Zeekr brochure, the Long Range and Performance get a 36.21-inch head-up display. These are all powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8295 chip. Other features include the Zeekr 10-speaker audio system for the Standard model, while the other two models get the Zeekr 21-speaker system. Additionally, all three variants support Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
In terms of the powertrain, the Standard and Long Range models come with a rear-mounted single motor, with an output of 310 kW and 440 Nm of torque. Both models complete the century sprint in 6 seconds. As for the Performance trim, it comes with a dual motor setup delivering 475 kW and 710 Nm, taking the car from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.8 seconds.
The Standard variant is powered by a 75 kW LFP battery offering a 480 km WLTP range, while the Long Range and Performance are fitted with a 100 kW NCM battery offering 615 km and 543 km WLTP range respectively. Since all three variants are built on the 800 V architecture, they are capable of supporting fast charging.
With a 450 kW DC charger, the Standard takes 10.5 minutes to charge from 10% to 80%. For the other two variants, it takes 16 minutes with a 420 kW DC charger. As for AC charging, all three trims support 22 kW, with the Long Range and Performance taking 5.5 hours to charge from 10% to 100%. However, for the same charge, the Standard variant only takes 4.5 hours.
As you’d expect, the other details of the Zeekr 7X, such as its price, are yet to be revealed by the automaker. Nevertheless, the ROI (Register Your Interest) is open now for those who are interest in the upcoming electric SUV.
