The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold7 and Flip7 were the first to get One UI 8, and by extension Android 16. The company says that it has extended the beta version of its latest OS overlay to this year’s non-foldable flagships, the Galaxy S25 series. More recently, the South Korean tech giant says that last year’s flagships, foldable or otherwise, will be getting the One UI 8 beta next week.
To spell it out, the new OS beta will be available to the Samsung Galaxy S24 series, the Z Fold6 and Flip6. Unfortunately, the company added the caveat that this only applies to its own home market, as well as the US, the UK and India. No word on when the other regions will be getting access.

From there, the company fast forwards to September, when it says it will start the sequential rollout of the full One UI 8 to the aforementioned devices. This will also be when Samsung rolls out the beta to the 2023 flagships, as well as the Galaxy A55, A54, A36 and A35.
Closing out the list, Samsung says that it will be rolling out the Watch version of One UI 8 to smartwatches beyond the Galaxy Watch8. No specifics on models here, but it would be very surprising if the Ultra gets excluded.
