Commuters travelling on the KTM trains from Pelabuhan Klang to KL Sentral line are advised to prepare for disruptions on Sundays over the next two months. Its operator, Keretapi Tanah Melayu Berhad (KTMB), has announced a temporary suspension of train services between Port Klang and Abdullah Hukum stations starting this Sunday on 4 August until 29 September 2025.
This service interruption is due to scheduled sewerage system upgrades along the affected stretch of track. As a result, there will be no direct KTM Komuter trains to KL Sentral from any station between Port Klang and Abdullah Hukum on Sundays during this period. Train services to Tanjung Malim will instead begin from KL Sentral as usual.
To accommodate affected passengers, KTMB will deploy shuttle buses from selected stations to Subang Jaya, where passengers can reconnect with the Komuter network. Affected stations include Port Klang, Telok Gadong, Klang, Bukit Badak, Padang Jawa, Shah Alam, and Batu Tiga. The buses will start running from 6:30 AM, with the full schedule available in the embedded Facebook post below.
Meanwhile, commuters using stations between Subang Jaya and Abdullah Hukum will need to rely on alternative transport options to reach KL Sentral. Among those suggested by the company include the Rapid KL LRT service and e-hailing options.
