The Tecno Pova 7 series – comprising a 4G and 5G base models, as well as a Pro and Ultra variants – was first introduced in India earlier this month. Now, the brand has confirmed that the 4G version is now available in Malaysia, with the rest of the series promised to be introduced soon.

To recap, the Tecno Pova 7 4G comes with a 6.78-inch IPS LCD display with Full HD+ (1080 x 2460 px) resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and peak brightness of 900 nits. It also carries stereo speakers, an under-display fingerprint scanner, and an IP64 rating for protection against dust and water splashes. Unfortunately, unlike its siblings, the base model does not feature the Delta Light Interface system on its back.

Under the hood, the phone is powered by a 4G-only MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Ultimate chipset, along with 8GB of RAM (expandable up to 16GB via virtual memory) and up to 256GB of internal storage. Additionally, it houses a massive 7,000mAh battery with 45W fast charging support, while managing the software side of things is Tecno’s HiOS 15 UI that’s based on Android 15.

For photography, the Pova 7 sports a 108MP main rear camera with 2MP macro on its back. Flipping the phone over, we’ll find an 8MP selfie snapper that’s housed within the punch-hole cutout on its display.

The Pova 7 4G is available now via Tecno Malaysia’s official Shopee store, priced at RM1,199 for the 8GB + 128GB configuration and RM1,299 for the 8GB + 256GB. Colour options include Hyper Titanium, Magic Silver and Geek Black, whereas the Neon Cyan version is currently listed as out of stock.
