The last model of the vivo X200 series – the FE – is out and about. With that in mind, the time seems right for leaks of the next entry to emerge. Specs for the camera on two models from the X300 series have appeared online, thanks to leaksters. But it’s not exactly clear which specific model in the range these belong to.
Serial leakster Digital Chat Station has shared on Chinese social media Weibo two sets of camera setups. One consists of a 200MP main + 50MP wide-angle – 50MP 3x telephoto combo. Another flips things around a bit, with the setup being a 50MP main + 50MP wide-angle + 200MP periscope telephoto. That last set was also paired with a MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset, as well as a new lens coating tech to deal with optical distortions.

All that being said. these posts don’t specifically attribute them to any specific device. Instead, innoGyan reports that the first set belongs to a vivo X300 Pro mini, while the second is for the X300 Pro. The report also mentions prior pointing to the smaller model getting a 6.3-inch screen and a 3D ultrasonic fingerprint sensor.
On one hand, Digital Chat Station’s leaks have been pretty reliable. But on the other, that’s what they still are, ultimately. So far, there’s no word on when vivo will be launching the X300 series. But based on prior launches, chances are we will find out around the third quarter of the year.
