TNG Digital has announced that it is collaborating with Kakitangan.com to introduce a new way for employers to disburse salaries to employees via eWallet. This system is intended to be more inclusive and accessible, especially for unbanked and undeserved workers.
This disbursement method relies on DuitNow Bulk Transfer, in which employers using Kakitangan.com can directly transfer salaries in bulk to the employees’ TNG eWallet accounts via any bank’s cash management system. Each eWallet user now has a DuitNow account number, which means they can receive funds from any bank or eWallet, not unlike a traditional bank account.

This joint effort is aimed at supporting migrant and underserved workers who typically face barriers in opening regular bank accounts. These groups rely on TNG eWallet to access their income and manage their finances in the digital space.
According to TNG Digital CEO Alan Ni, financial inclusion is at the heart of the company’s mission, and through the partnership, both TNG Digital and Kakitangan.com can address the pain points affecting those who have no access to traditional bank accounts. He went on to note that over two million foreigners currently use TNG eWallet. He also expressed his confidence that the collaboration will further enhance HR and payroll workflows while ensuring no one is left behind.
