Maybank previously announced that it will be carrying out maintenance on selected services from midnight to 8AM tomorrow. Now, it looks like the bank has another one scheduled for the Saturday after, and with partially the same time window.
At the time of writing, it doesn’t look like Maybank has announced this new maintenance window on its official social media channels. But a new schedule on the company’s website has been spotted, showing a list of services that will be available and for what duration.
Or more specifically, the Maybank ATMs will not be available between midnight and 8AM of 19 July. All other affected services will be down between 3AM and 8AM instead. The list includes DuitNow and its Transfer, Request and QR extensions, JomPay and Interbank GIRO transfers. Sharing this downtime are the FPX and Debit Mandate services via Maybank2u web.
Between this scheduled maintenance and the one taking place tomorrow, it’s all the more reason to plan your transactions. Worth noting though is that the link Maybank has previously shared to the 12 July maintenance announcement now shows the new 19 July date. Though for now it’s unclear if this is a rescheduling or that the bank is carrying out its maintenance on both weeks.
