Tecno has officially launched two new additions to its Pova lineup for the Indian market: the Pova 7, as well as the Pova 7 Pro. One of the highlights of the new phones is the brand’s new Delta Light Interface. Beyond that, the two devices come with similar specifications, with minor differences in terms of display and camera.
The Delta Light Interface is characterised by a triangular strip around the phone’s camera island consisting of 104 LED lights. The interface essentially acts as a customisable notification status, much like the Glyph Interface found on most Nothing phones. The interface interacts with calls, messages, as well as gaming.
The vanilla Pova 7 sports a 6.78-inch IPS LCD display with FHD+ resolution, 144Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 900 nits. Meanwhile, the Pro variant gets a better 6.78-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a 4,500 nits peak brightness. For protection, the devices are both rated IP64 for dust and water resistance.
Internally, both phones are equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Ultimate chipset, paired with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. However, it is worth noting that the base Pova 7 only gets 8GB of RAM. Both phones also feature a 6,000mAh battery with support for 45W charging. For software, the smartphones run on HiOS 15 based on Android 15. The operating system supports DeepSeek and comes with the brand’s Ella AI assistant.

On the imaging side, the regular Pova 7 sports a 50MP primary camera. The Pro version comes packed with a 64MP Sony IMX682 sensor for its main camera, as well as an 8MP ultra-wide lens. As for the front camera, both models feature a 13MP selfie shooter.

Both models are available in three colourways: Geek Black, Magic Silver, and Oasis Green for the regular Pova 7; and Geek Black, Dynamic Grey, and Neon Cyan for the Pro variant. However, at the time of writing, there is no word on local availability yet.
