Following the China launch of the HONOR Magic V5, the company is preparing to release another foldable, namely the sequel to its Magic V Flip. Ahead of its upcoming launch in August, the phone has apparently received 3C certification and could debut with an upgraded charging speed.
In a Weibo post, leakster Fixed Focus Digital shared a listing on the 3C database for a device called the CLE-AN00. The 3C certification confirms that the device supports 80W charging, which could indicate that the Magic V Flip 2 will come with a higher charging speed compared to its predecessor.

Meanwhile, a separate leak has revealed some of the phone’s specifications. Digital Chat Station claims that the phone will feature a 5,500mAh battery with support for either 66W or 80W wired charging. Aside from that, the Magic V Flip 2 is tipped to feature a 6.8-inch FHD+ LTPO OLED inner display and 4-inch FHD+ LTPO OLED cover screen like the original Magic V Flip.
As for the chipset, no specifics have been given, but it is thought to run on a Snapdragon 8 series SoC. However, it will be something like the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 rather than a flagship chip. The phone is also rumoured to sport the same dual camera setup as its precursor, which includes a 50MP main sensor.

It is worth noting that HONOR did not release the Magic V Flip outside of China. Therefore, it is quite likely that its successor won’t make its way to our shores, unless the company decides to switch things up this year.
