After much hinting and teasing, Nothing has finally unveiled what it calls its first “true” flagship, the Phone (3). Of course, those who have been keeping up with the teasers and rumours will find that much of the phone’s details do line up with the recent leaks.
The Phone (3) sports a 6.67-inch 1,260×2,800 AMOLED display with a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate as well as a peak brightness of 4,500 nits. It also comes with an in-display fingerprint sensor and symmetric stereo speakers. Moreover, the phone gets an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance.
Naturally, the heart of the Phone (3) is the Glyph Matrix that replaces the Glyph Interface that adorns the company’s previous phones. Located in the top right corner of the phone’s rear, the Glyph Matrix is a monochrome display consisting of 489 individually lit LEDs. The dot-matrix style screen serves to display notifications, but there are customisation and entertainment elements to it as well. A dedicated button for toggling the different modes is located on the back of the device.
Along with the Glyph Matrix, Nothing is introducing Glyph Toys, which the company defines as a set of “micro-experiences”. These include the Glyph Mirror, a digital clock, battery indicator, as well as games like Spin The Bottle and Rock Paper Scissors. The company also plans on adding more functions later on, with a public SDK allowing users to build their own Glyph Toys.

Nothing has previously confirmed that the phone runs on a Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset. As for memory configurations, you have your choice of 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, or 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. Powering the device is a 5,150mAh battery with support for 65W wired and 15W wireless charging, as well as reverse charging. For software, it will ship with Nothing OS 3.5, based on Android 15, with five years’ worth of OS upgrades and seven years of security updates.
On the optics side, the Phone (3) comes with a triple setup comprising a 50MP main sensor, a 50MP periscope telephoto lens, and a 50MP ultra-wide camera. For the selfie enthusiasts out there, the front is equipped with a 50MP shooter.

The Nothing Phone (3) comes with colour options of black and white, with the 12GB+256GB option priced at US$799 (~RM3367), and the 16GB+512GB configuration priced at US$899 (~RM3,789). The device will be available for pre-order starting 4 July, with the first sales slated for 15 July. That said, pricing for the Malaysian market has yet to be announced.
