The Malaysian government is set to launch MyGov, a single mobile application that will serve as a centralised platform for accessing public services, in July 2025. Digital Minister Gobind Singh Deo announced that the app is part of the country’s Government Technology (GovTech) initiative aimed at transforming Malaysia into a digitally empowered nation.
Gobind said the unified app would provide Malaysians with seamless access to services offered by various government agencies. “It is only right to ensure we have a single platform where Malaysians can deal with various government agencies seamlessly,” he said, emphasising the need for convenience and efficiency in digital governance.
The initial rollout of the MyGov app will include seven core services: passport and travel-related matters; birth and citizenship registration; road tax and driving licence services; healthcare appointments and medical records; summonses; land tax and housing assessments; and access to the government’s Rahmah Cash Aid programme. Additional features will be added over time.
The app will be integrated with MyDigital ID, enabling users to verify their identity and access services securely through a single login. Gobind said the integration aims to simplify the user experience while reinforcing digital trust, inclusivity, and efficiency across all government digital platforms.

It should be noted that the MyGov app is already available to download via the Google Play Store and Apple App Store. While you can install it to your smartphone, access is only available to specific individuals at this time.
