realme Malaysia officially launched GT 7 Series in Malaysia. The series comprises three SKUs: the GT 7, the Aston Martin Formula One team-inspired Dream Edition, and the 7T.

Specs-wise, the GT 7 is fitted with  MediaTek’s Dimensity 9400e Plus SoC, which is basically a rebadged Dimensity 9300. Other specs include 12GB RAM, 512GB internal storage capacity, a 7,000mAh battery and 120W ultra-fast charging that provides 50% of power with a 14-minute charge, and a full charge in 40 minutes.

For its display, the phone sports a 6.8-inch 2.8K AMOLED panel. Camera-wise, the phone sports a dual main camera, comprising a 50MP Sony IMX 906 wide, and an 8MP ultrawide. The selfie camera is a simple 16MP shooter.

The GT 7 Dream Edition is basically identical to the standard model, the main difference being the Aston Martin Racing Green colourway. Additionally, the phone comes packaged in a special collector’s box that includes a Silver Wing phone case, plus an F1 race car-shaped SIM pin. Oh, and it gets 16GB RAM, instead of the standard 12GB.

Then there’s the GT 7T. Based on the official fluff, the phone is nearly identical to the GT 7 in terms of hardware, save for the difference in the chipset and main camera sensor. Internally, it’s running on a MediaTek Dimensity 8400 Max, while the wide sensor of its main camera is a 50MP Sony IMX896.

Pricing for the realme GT 7 series starts from RM1,999 for the 7T, RM2,599 for the standard 7, while the Dream Edition retails for RM2,999. The Aston Martin-inspired model notwithstanding, both the 7 and 7T will be available in two colourways, IceSense Blue and IceSense Black.
