After two years, DJI has finally updated its premium consumer drone offering with the new Mavic 4 Pro. The company packed the updated drone with a 360-degree rotating gimbal, a longer battery life, and bigger sensors, all with a lower base price compared to the Mavic 3 Pro.
To start with, the new rotating gimbal offers 360 degrees of rotation along with 70 degrees of upward tilt, giving users an improved vertical filming experience as well as the ability to shoot Dutch angles. On the safety side of things, it gets six fisheye cameras with low-light capability and dual processors for navigation and collision avoidance.

As for its triple-camera setup, the main camera has been upgraded to a 100MP Hasselblad shooter with a Four Thirds sensor with support for 6K 60fps recording and 16 stops of dynamic range. As for the telephoto lenses, it now features a new 50MP 1/1.5″ CMOS sensor and it retains the 48MP medium telephoto lens with a 1/1.3-inch CMOS sensor.

The Mavic 4 Pro is fitted with a 95Wh battery which provides up to 51 minutes of flight time with top speeds of 90km/h. Moreover, the new O4+ transmission system offers a longer range of up to 41km, while 10-bit HDR video transmission is limited to a 30km range.

Available through DJI’s Shopee and Lazada stores, the Mavic 4 Pro retails at RM9,599 for the basic bundle including the RC 2 controller. To get the parallel charging hub, you will need to opt for the Fly More Combo costing RM11,749, while an upgrade to the RC Pro 2 controller will require you to purchase the Creator Combo at RM15,099.
