vivo’s iQOO sub-brand has launched the Buds 1i, a pair of TWS earbuds. The device is seemingly available in both China and international markets, although it comes in two different variants. While one of its main selling points is its 50-hour battery life, that particular variation is only sold in Indonesia. The Chinese market gets the 45-hour model which, notably, was launched in July last year, and is called the TWS 1i instead.

There are other differences between the iQOO Buds 1i and the TWS 1i besides its battery-life. To start off, as per a machine translation of the official website, the Chinese-exclusive device supports Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity. It also offers 55ms low latency during gaming. As for its pricing, the page lists it as costing RMB95 (~RM55).

As for the earbuds sold in Indonesia, the iQOO Buds 1i are stated to support Bluetooth 5.4 connectivity, a latency of 88ms, and an IP54 rating. It also has Google Assistant and provides Google Fast Pair. It comes in the Star Light colour option, and is priced at IDR349,000 (~RM89). However, at the time of writing, the online Indonesian vivo store lists it has having a 40-hour battery life instead.

The rest of the specs of the iQOO Buds 1i remain generally the same between both variants. It has 10mm high polymer composite audio drivers and is also said to offer AI noise reduction. The earbuds are also reported to have a similar battery configuration as the vivo Buds 3i, with GSMArena speculating that it could simply be a rebrand of the same product in a different colour variant.
