Several users of TIME internet are currently experiencing a service outage, cutting off access to the internet. This is according to numerous comments and posts on social media complaining about their service being down.
It is currently unknown how widespread the outage is as the ISP has yet to issue an official statement, but several people posting about the outage state that it is happening in Bukit Jalil. Time’s service status website confirms that there is an outage in at least some parts of the area. One user’s service status shows that the outage started last night at 1.25 AM, while one of our writers experienced a service disruption within a similar timeframe.
According to an SMS from the internet provider, as well as TIME’s customer service, the company is aware of the issue and it will apparently be resolved within four hours. We have contacted the ISP for more information and we will keep you posted once we know more.
UPDATE: Our latest check on TIME’s service status portal shows that the service disruption has been resolved, although the company has yet to explain the cause of the outage.
