Alongside the new GT 7, realme has also announced its latest flagship earbuds, the Buds Air7 Pro. A companion to the vanilla Buds Air7, the Pro model gets improved active noise cancellation (ANC) and a longer battery life compared to its predecessor.
The Buds Air7 Pro is fitted with coaxial dual drivers made up of a 6mm driver and an 11mm driver in each bud. Moreover, it comes with support for the LHDC 5.0 codec and is Hi-Res Audio Wireless certified. For connectivity, it supports Swift Pair with Windows devices as well as multi-point connectivity and a low-latency mode for gaming.
Design-wise, the new Pro buds are offered in an aluminium design with an IP55 rating for dust and water resistance. Its ANC feature sees a slight improvement, capping out at 53dB of noise reduction, up from 50dB. As for the battery life, realme claims that the Pro can last up to 48 hours with the charging case when ANC is disabled. With ANC turned on, the total playback time is reduced to 26 hours and 6.5 hours on a single charge, while enabling LHDC cuts the battery life of the buds even further to just five hours.
The Buds Air7 Pro gets a retail price of CNY450 (~RM270) and is available in four colours. As of now, the company has not revealed details of global availability, but we can expect the earbuds to arrive here soon as they have already been listed on the SIRIM database ahead of any announcements.
