HONOR has officially unveiled the local pricing of its latest tablet, the Pad X9a. The entry-level tablet is the first of three products that is set to be launched by the company in Malaysia. This version only supports Wi-Fi, but on 10 April, an LTE variant will be announced alongside the Pad V9 and the MagicBook X14.
The Pad X9a sports an 11.5-inch 2.5K LCD display with a refresh rate of 120Hz as well as a peak brightness of 400 nits. Under the hood, it runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 685 paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. On the connectivity side, it supports Wi-Fi 5 and Bluetooth 5.1.
As for the optics, the tablet is fitted with an 8MP main camera on the back while the front houses a 5MP snapper. Powering the affordable device is an 8,300mAh battery with support for 35W charging. It also supports the brand’s Multi-Screen Collaboration feature which lets you transfer files and control multiple devices such as an HONOR laptop or smartphone from a single interface.
The Wi-Fi version of the Pad X9a retails at RM999 in a grey colour option. It can be purchased through the brand’s online store, as well as its Shopee, Lazada, and TikTok stores and authorised retailers. Purchases come with a Bluetooth keyboard and stylus along with a free 3-month iQIYI membership subscription.
