The e.MAS 7, Proton’s first ever electric vehicle (EV), has reached 1,000 deliveries since its launch. This was announced by the local auto manufacturer’s subsidiary PRO-NET (Proton New Technology), which is responsible for its EV business

To commemorate this significant milestone, Proton released a video on its official YouTube channel, highlighting its evolution in the automotive industry. The same video showcases its historic role from manufacturing Malaysia’s first-ever car, the iconic Proton Saga, to now releasing and now they are also responsible for manufacturing the nation’s first ever EV car.

“Reaching 1,000 deliveries of the Proton e.MAS 7 is not just a number—it’s a reflection of the trust and support from Malaysians who believe in our vision for a greener, more sustainable future,” said Zhang Qiang, Chief Executive Officer of PRO-NET. “This journey wouldn’t be possible without all of you.“
