Recently, Mark Gurman of Bloomberg predicted that the launch of the M4 MacBook Air models will happen this week, with the new iPad models coming later. With the reverse ending up happening, the new expectation is that the Apple notebooks will be launching as soon as tomorrow. Or considering time zone differences, it could happen as soon as later today.
Gurman made the claim via his account on X, which would still fall well within the initial window of “this week”, made both by himself and Apple CEO Tim Cook. To note for the latter, Cook’s teaser also only mentions the time window, without mentioning the number of products with the Air suffix being launched.
On that note, the M4 MacBook Air is expected to come in its usual two size options of 13 and 15 inches. And coming with its M4 chip would be all of the other benefits that it brings, such as better multi display support. The addition of Apple Intelligence also means that the notebooks are expected to come with more base memory.
Of course, these will be confirmed tomorrow, should Gurman’s new prediction be accurate. It would also be quite the number of Apple launches within a short time window, with the iPhone 16e launching just last month.
