OPPO seems to have quietly launched the OnePlus Buds Pro 3 and Nord Buds 3 in Malaysia, but only one of them is available for purchase at the moment. The two devices were unveiled by the brand a few months back, positioning them as premium and affordable earbuds respectively.
To start with, the Buds Pro 3 were listed on OPPO’s Shopee store with a price tag of RM699 and two colour options. However, while the page is still up, the earbuds have been unlisted from the Shopee store, meaning it is not available for purchase.
As a refresher, the Pro earbuds come with a built-in dual DAC system along with adaptive Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) that can cancel out up to 50dB of background noise. It gets an improved battery life that can last a total of 43 hours when paired with the case, as well as up to 10 hours on a single charge without ANC and six hours with ANC. Additionally, it comes with support for Bluetooth 5.4, LHDC 5.0, Fast Pair, Dual Connection, and spatial audio.
What you can buy now is the more affordable counterpart, which is the Nord Buds 3. The earbuds get 12.4mm drivers and have an improved ANC that can drown out up to 32dB of noise. Durability-wise, both the Nord and Pro earbuds have an IP55 rating for dust and water resistance.
For the battery life, it claims to last a whopping 12 hours on a single charge when ANC is disabled and eight hours with the feature turned on. Moreover, the Bluetooth 5.4-enabled earbuds support Dual Connection, a low-latency mode for gaming, and Fast Pair.
