Soundcore, the audio sub-brand by Anker, has announced a new pair of TWS buds and a portable speaker, in the form of the Liberty 4 Pro and the Select 4 Go. Of the two, the latter will be the first to hit the market, and with a lower price tag at that.
But before we talk about that, let’s first talk about the Soundcore Liberty 4 Pro. One major improvement that it sports over the base model is the inclusion of a small screen inside the case. This gives you a quick glance at a number of things like battery and ANC levels. There’s also a touch capacitive strip on the case that allows adjustments on said ANC levels, as well as transparency and volume.
Other items on the Soundcore Liberty 4 Pro spec sheet include 10 hours of play time, plus another 30 with the case without ANC, or seven-and-a-half and 30 hours with. Driving the sound are a 4.6mm titanium tweeter and a 10.5mm woofer. Its specific Bluetooth version in use is not stated, but the company says that Android users get access to LDAC support.
Moving on to the Soundcore Select 4 Go portable speaker, the company says that comes with an IP67 rating, with a floatable design and being rustproof on top. It has an output of 5W, and a 2,600 mAh battery with a claimed “all day” battery life. It also weighs in at 220g, further encouraging owners to take it around everywhere.
As mentioned, Soundcore is making the Select 4 Go portable speaker available first, with a starting price of RM109. But if you get it before 17 November and you can get it for RM99 instead. The Liberty 4 Pro will instead be available starting 1 December for RM699. Both will be on the brand’s official store on Lazada and Shopee, but the TWS buds will also be appearing on the brand’s TikTok shop.
