The realme 13 5G series is set to arrive in Malaysia later this week on 17 October. It will see the brand offering the vanilla 13 as well as the 13 Plus, complementing the 13 Pro series with more affordable prices with modest specs.
Ahead of the launch however, a local retailer has listed at least one of the upcoming devices, revealing its price. The realme 13 5G will retail at RM1,199, coming in green and dark purple colour options with a single 12GB+256GB variant. Unfortunately, the 13 Plus has not been listed yet, but according to realme’s Shopee store, it will be offered in 12GB+256GB and 12GB+512GB configurations.
As for the specs, the realme 13 sports a 6.72-inch 1080p LCD display — the only model in the lineup without an OLED panel — with a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 580 nits. It runs on a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset and is powered by a 5,000mAh battery with support for 45W charging.
On the imaging side, it rocks a 50MP main camera with OIS, a depth sensor, and a 16MP front sensor. Additionally, it comes with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, ships with realme UI 5.0 based on Android 14, and supports 5G, Wi-Fi 5, and Bluetooth 5.3.
