Last week, we reported that the Amazfit Helio Ring was due to launch in Malaysia as it was listed by a local retailer. Now, the company has officially announced the availability of the smart ring, along with a very attractive launch promo.
The Helio Ring is now available for purchase through the brand’s Shopee store as well as authorised resellers. It retails for RM1,399, but the brand is currently offering a launch promo where you can get the ring for only RM999, along with a free latex pillow. According to retailer Goldblitz, the promo will last until the end of September.
Just like in other markets, the Helio Ring is available in three sizes, namely 8, 10, and 12. Its outer shell is made up of a titanium allow and the ring itself weighs just four grams with a thickness of 2.6mm. It is rated for water resistance up to 100 metres, making it suitable to wear while showering and swimming, although it is recommended to be taken off during a hot shower or sauna session.
The smart ring is mainly meant to keep track of your health and recovery after workouts, coming equipping with a BioTracker PPG heart rate sensor, a temperature sensor, an Electrodermal Activity (EDA) sensor, as well as a gyroscope and acceleration sensor. It can keep track of your heart rate, blood-oxygen saturation levels, stress levels, and sleep quality. As for the battery life, the company claims that the Helio Ring can last up to four days.
