The iQOO Z9 was launched in Malaysia a couple of months back, but the brand is already giving it a minor refresh with a new colour option. It is now available in titanium for both variants of the phone, but unfortunately, it is only a colourway and it does not actually come with a titanium chassis.
Aside from the new colour, everything else remains the same. The Z9 sports a 6.78-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 144Hz, a local peak brightness of 4,500 nits for HDR, and a global peak brightness of 1,200 nits. Under the hood, the mid-ranger runs on a Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset with 256GB of storage and up to 12GB of RAM.
For the optics, the phone features a simple setup made up of a 50MP main camera with OIS, a 2MP depth sensor, and a 16MP selfie snapper. Backing it is a battery with a 6,000mAh capacity that charges at a speed of 44W.
The Z9 is available in titanium at the same price as its other colourways at RM1,399 for the 8GB+256GB variant and RM1,499 for the 12GB+256GB configuration. It can be purchased through the brand’s Shopee and Lazada stores. From 19 to 29 September 2024, the phone comes with a one-year screen protection and an extended warranty.
