Tecno is gearing up to launch at least two new entry-level smartphones, with both of them set to arrive in Malaysia soon. The Spark Go 1, along with the Spark 30C, have received certification from SIRIM, indicating that local launch of the two devices is imminent.

The Spark Go 1 was listed on the SIRIM database on 13 August 2024 with the model number KL4. Meanwhile, the Spark 30C was listed on 14 August 2024 with the model number KL5. The former is expected to launch in India and globally soon, but the brand has not put out an official announcement for either smartphones yet.

Some specs of the Go 1 have apparently been leaked, claiming that it will be a 4G device that sports a 6.67-inch 720p display powered by a Unisoc T615 chipset and a 5,000mAh battery that supports 15W charging. On the imaging side, the phone will purportedly feature a single 13MP camera along with an 8MP selfie shooter. Additionally, it will come with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and an IP54 rating for dust and water resistance.

As for the 30C, nothing is known about it as of now, so we can only speculate based on last year’s 20C. Its predecessor was fitted with a 6.6-inch 720p LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate, a MediaTek Helio G36 chipset, a 50MP main camera, and a 5,000mAh cell with 18W charging.
