Acer Malaysia today has introduced two new Aspire Lite laptops. The first being a special edition Aspire Lite 14 that’s available in two different configurations, while the second is the Aspire Lite 16.
The special edition Aspire Lite 14 features a unique cover design in conjunction with the brand’s ongoing Acer Day 2024 celebration, and is offered in a single Pure Silver colourway. The laptop is available with either a 14-inch display in WQXGA+ 2.2K IPS or WUXGA IPS configurations. The former includes an Intel Core i5-1235u processor, 16GB DDR5 RAM, 512GB PCIe NVMe Gen4 SSD, and Intel UHD Graphics. On the other hand, the latter comes with an Intel Core i3-1215u, 8GB DDR5 RAM, as well as the same storage capacity and graphics processing as its sibling.
Both variants also come with Windows 11 Home, Microsoft Office Home & Student (Perpetual) with Microsoft 365 Basic subscription for one year, as well as four USB ports with a DisplayPort-supported Type-C connector. Additionally, Acer says either versions of the Aspire Lite 14 are capable of lasting up to 10 hours of use, supports 65W fast charging, and weighs at only 1.5kg.
Next up, we have the Acer Aspire Lite 16, which is offered in Steel Grey. This laptop comes with a larger 16-inch WUXGA IPS display, and Intel Core i5-1235u, 8GB DDR5 RAM, 512GB PCIe NVMe Gen4 SSD, and Intel UHD graphics.
Like the two Aspire Lite 14, it also includes Windows 11 Home, Microsoft Office Home & Student (Perpetual) with Microsoft 365 Basic subscription for one year, as well as four USB ports with a DisplayPort-supported Type-C connector. Similarly, it is touted to last over 10 hours on a single charge, and features 65W fast charging support. Being a larger model, it comes in slightly heavier at 1.7kg.
The Intel Core i3 and Core i5 versions of the special edition Acer Aspire Lite 14 are priced at RM1,999 and RM2,599 respectively, while the Aspire Lite 16 is at RM2,399. In conjunction with its ongoing Acer Day 2024 celebration, the company is offering all three models at special discounted prices of RM1,799, RM2,399, and RM2,299 respectively.
