vivo seems to have quietly brought over the Y03, its latest entry-level smartphone, to the Malaysian market. The phone has been listed on the company’s local website and is available in a single configuration with two colour options, namely green and black.
The Y03 is fitted with a 6.56-inch 720p LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate and an undisclosed brightness rating. It runs on a MediaTek Helio G85 chipset paired with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal data, along with a microSD card slot for expansion. For protection, it has an IP54 dust and water resistance rating as well as an anti-scratch backplate design.

Imaging-wise, the Y03 sports a 13MP main camera and a secondary sensor on the back while the tear-drop notch up front houses a 5MP selfie snapper. The budget device is powered by a 5,000mAh battery with support for 15W wired charging, with a promise that the battery will maintain at least 80% of its capacity after three years. As for connectivity, the phone only supports 4G, Bluetooth 5.0, and Wi-Fi 5.

The Y03 retails for RM399 and can be purchased through its website and its Shopee and Lazada stores.
