While the HONOR 90 was released just earlier this year, the company has already launched its successor in the form of the HONOR 100 series. Made up of two phones, the lineup features a flagship chipset and debuts a brand-new mid-range SoC from Qualcomm.
The HONOR 100 sports a 6.7-inch OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and an outstanding peak brightness of 2,600 nits. It’s the first phone to use the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset and the connectivity support includes Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, 5G, and NFC.
Meanwhile, the HONOR 100 Pro has a slightly bigger 6.78-inch 120Hz display that can also go up to 2,600 nits. This phone runs on the “last-gen” Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset — the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 is Qualcomm’s latest flagship — and, similarly, it supports Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, 5G, and NFC.
For photography, both phones are equipped with a 50MP main rear camera with OIS, a 12MP ultra-wide lens, and a 50MP selfie shooter. The HONOR 100 Pro gets an edge however as it comes with a third sensor on the back in the form of a 32MP telephoto lens with 2.5x optical and OIS, along with a depth sensor next to the front camera. The two phones run on a 5,000mAh battery with 100W charging, but only the Pro gets 66W wireless charging as well as reverse wireless charging.
The HONOR 100 starts from CNY2,499 (~RM1,640) while the 100 Pro has a starting price of CNY3,399 (~RM2,230). As of writing, the company has not announced whether it plans to bring the series to the Malaysian market.
