After it was teased earlier this week, the Tecno Phantom V Flip is finally available in Malaysia. The phone was introduced in September as the brand’s clamshell counterpart to its earlier Phantom V Fold. Available now for pre-orders, the foldable is being offered at a special price with gifts for early bird customers.
When unfolded, the V Flip sports a 6.9-inch 1080p LTPO AMOLED display with a peak brightness of 1,000 nits and a 120Hz refresh rate. On the outside, it features a circular outer display that measures 1.32 inches and also uses a 120Hz AMOLED panel.
Inside, it runs on a MediaTek Dimensity 8050 chipset with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. The cover screen holds the phone’s 64MP main sensor and 13MP ultra-wide lens, while the internal display houses the 32MP selfie camera. Powering the foldable is a 4,000mAh battery with support for 45W charging.
The Phantom V Flip comes in two colours and retails for RM2,999 on the brand’s Shopee store. However, it is being offered at RM2,899 from 5 to 7 October. Moreover, those who pre-order from now until 9 October will also receive a free Spark Go smartphone while stocks last.
