The Tecno Spark Go 2023 is the latest smartphone offering by the company and it looks to be the cheapest one being offered by it in the Malaysian Market. However, despite the incredibly affordable price tag, the phone still manages to offer all the basic necessities not usually seen at this price point.
Firstly, it offers a 6.6-inch 720p display with a dot-notch to house the selfie camera. Surprisingly, it offers a fingerprint scanner on the back as well as a USB Type-C charging port, which doesn’t sound impressive but many budget smartphones still use microUSB to this day. That being said, the phone only charges at a speed of 10W.
Running everything under the hood is a MediaTek Helio A22 chipset with a single configuration of 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage, with a microSD card slot for storage expansion. Connectivity-wise, it supports 4G, Wi-Fi 5, NFC, and Bluetooth 5.0.
For photography, the Spark Go features a 13MP camera alongside a depth sensor on the back, while the front uses a 5MP selfie shooter. It ships with HiOS 12 based on Android 12.
The Spark Go 2023 retails for only RM299 and can be purchased through the brand’s official Lazada and Shopee stores. It recently also launched the Pova 5 here at RM699.
