The vivo S17t was unveiled months ago along with the rest of the S17 series, but it had not been available in its home market of China until now. It is priced at CNY2,999 (~RM1,924) for the single configuration with 12GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage, along with three colour options of black, blue, and pink.
First off, the S17t sports a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution and a refresh rate of 120Hz, along with an under-display fingerprint scanner. Running everything is a MediaTek Dimensity 8050 chipset, with connectivity support for 5G, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, and NFC.
For the camera setup, the back features a 50MP primary sensor with OIS beside an 8MP ultra-wide lens, with the main camera supporting 20x digital zoom. Up front, the punch-hole cutout houses a 50MP selfie shooter with autofocus that is capable of shooting videos up to 4K.
Powering the mid-range phone is a 4,600mAh battery with support for 80W charging. It ships with OriginOS 3 based on Android 13. As of now, there is no word on whether the brand plans on bringing the S17t to the Malaysian market nor have they confirmed the availability of the rest of the S17 lineup.
