Last week saw the official unveiling of the Garmin Venu 3 and 3S. At the time, both smartwatches have already been listed in the SIRIM database, suggesting their imminent arrival on shelves locally. Now, the company has officially made both available in the local market.

As a refresher, the Garmin Venu 3S is basically a slightly smaller version of the Venu 3, with the only real difference between the two being their screen sizes and battery life. The former has a 1.2-inch AMOLED screen, while the latter has one that measures 1.4 inches.

On battery life, the company previously claimed that the Venu 3S can last for 10 days in smartwatch mode, with the larger Venu 3 lasting 14 days instead. But with their always-on display engaged both can hit up to the 5-day mark of use. Perhaps less crucially, there’s a slight weight difference as well, with the Venu 3 and 3S weighing 47g and 40g respectively.

Beyond that, both the Garmin Venu 3 and 3S come with all the sensors you can shake a stick at. Which is as you’d expect from a smartwatch that boasts tracking capabilities for heart rate, blood oxygen, VO2 max, sleep and stress levels. To go with those are tracking capabilities for over 1,600 exercises. The multi-day battery life ensures that it can do the sleep tracking bit better, and building on that is the Sleep Coach feature that recommends optimal sleep and nap times.

The Garmin Venu 3 and 3S are both priced at RM2,220 and are available at the brand’s official stores offline, as well as online via Lazada and Shopee. Though at the time of writing, they are not listed on the latter e-commerce site just yet.
