The POCO Pods have been introduced as the brand’s latest affordable wireless earbuds. They come at a shockingly low price and are packed with a lot of features that try to offer the best bang for the buck.
First up, the POCO Pods sport a 12mm driver in each earbud with a rating of IPX4 for water and sweat resistance. The earbuds seem to have a stem-like design with touch controls. Additionally, they could be a rebadge of the Redmi Buds 4 Active as they share the same specs and design, with the colour being the main difference.
They are equipped with Bluetooth 5.3 for a more stable connection with Google Fast Pair for a more seamless experience with devices that also support this feature. Other features include a 60ms low latency mode for gaming as well as Environmental Noise Cancellation (ENC) to reduce ambient noise.
The POCO Pods are powered with a 440mAh battery in the charging case, giving them a total playback time of up to 30 hours. For now, they are only available in India at an affordable price of INR1,199 (~RM66), but there has been no word yet on whether the brand plans to bring the earbuds to other markets.
