The 15-inch MacBook Air M2 was first revealed last month, during the WWDC 2023 event. While Apple had revealed its starting price at the time, it was not immediately available for purchase. This has changed recently, with the laptop now being available for purchase.

As the name suggests, both of them come with a 15.3-inch Liquid Retina display, a MagSafe 3 charging port, and two Thunderbolt ports. Naturally, the Magic Keyboard with Touch ID is there as well, as is the Force Touch trackpad. Beyond what every model has in common, your options come in the form of memory and SSD storage space. The starting configuration has 8GB of unified memory with the M2 chip, and 256GB of storage space. This starts the 15-inch MacBook Air M2 off with a price of RM6199.

Pushing the amount of memory up to 16GB adds an RM800 premium to the price. This is doubled up to RM1,600 if you choose to have 24GB of memory instead. It’s mostly the same story with storage space, where doubling the initial storage capacity to 512GB sees a familiar RM800 increase in price. This goes up to RM1,600 for 1TB of storage space, and RM3,200 for 2TB.

The price increment with the upgrades are oddly uniform, though it does make it a little easier to gauge what your ideal model would be priced at. With that in mind, the priciest configuration you can get for the 15-inch MacBook Air M2 is RM10999. Regardless of your configuration of choice, Apple says that it will ship between one and three business days.

Hardware aside, you can also choose to have additional software installed as well, in the form of Final Cut Pro and Logic Pro. These cost an additional RM1,299.90 and RM999.90, respectively.
