Just slightly a month after launching the Redmi Note 11 Series in Malaysia, Xiaomi has decided to expand the family with two more new models. They come in the form of Redmi Note 11 Pro+ 5G as well as Redmi Note 11S 5G and as you may be able to guess from their names, the support for 5G is one of Xiaomi’s main pitches for these devices.
The IP53-rated Redmi Note 11 Pro+ 5G is equipped with a 6.67-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display that also has a 120Hz refresh rate and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5. Running on a MediaTek Dimensity 920 processor, the Malaysian variant also comes with 8GB of RAM as standard.
Xiaomi has also equipped the Redmi Note 11 Pro+ 5G with a 4500mAh battery which can support the company’s 120W HyperCharge technology. The tech allows it to be fully charged in just 15 minutes and yes, the 120W charger is included together with the phone.

The camera module on the Note 11S 5G is also slightly different as it features a 50MP f/1.8 main camera instead of having a 108MP Samsung HM2 sensor and f/1.9 lens. It also misses the 2MP depth sensor but still has the same 8MP f/2.2 ultra-wide camera and 2MP macro camera.
When it comes to pricing, the Note 11 Pro+ 5G 128GB will be available for RM1,499 while the 256GB variant goes for RM1,599. That being said, you can obtain them for slightly less at RM1,399 and RM1,499, respectively if you are one of the first to purchase them through Lazada and Shopee on 6 April.
