ASUS announced that it will be releasing NVIDIA’s latest entry-level desktop graphics card, the GeForce RTX 3050 into the market very soon. For starters, the card will be made available in three different classes including ROG Strix, Dual, and Phoenix.

Under the ROG Strix branding, ASUS will be releasing both a standard edition variant of the card, as well as an OC Edition of it. For fans familiar with the lineup, the cards under this lineup will be wrapped in the same chiselled cutouts and futuristic and angular cuts, complete with an RGB LED ROG logo cutout on its backplate.

Surprisingly, the ROG Strix version of the RTX 3050 features a triple-fan cooling solution, which is a little rare for an entry-level graphics card.

Moving on, the Dual Series GeForce RTX 3050 cards will also come in a standard and OC Edition, with cards under this range simply sporting dual-fan solutions. Despite its simple design, the fans do make use of the company’s Axial-tech design that is capable of 0db operations, where temperatures and load permit.

Last but not least on the list is the Phoenix GeForce RTX 3050. The card features a single-fan cooling solution and is small, making it ideal for consumers looking to keep their desktop build small yet just powerful enough to game with.

Regardless of the series, all RTX 3050 cards ship out with the same 8GB GDDR6 graphics memory, 8nm Ampere architecture, and support the PCIe 4.0 interface. In addition, the cards will have a combination of up to 2 HDMI 2.1 ports and up to three DisplayPort 1.4a ports, depending on the series.

However, ASUS did not provide any details regarding their availability and pricing in Malaysia. As always, we will keep you posted once we receive any further updates from the company.
