Fresh from launching the Y76 5G last month, vivo today has unveiled yet another 5G offering for Malaysia in the form of V23e 5G. In addition to that, the company has also brought over the 4G variant of the phone into our market.

Despite having the same name, there are notable differences between the two variants. For example, V23e 5G is equipped with MediaTek Dimensity 810 while the 4G counterpart carries a MediaTek G96 instead.

At the same time, the 5G model features a main camera with a lower resolution sensor at 50MP as opposed to the 64MP sensor on the 4G variant. This also applies to their selfie cameras as the v23e 5G is equipped with a 44MP sensor while the 4G model has a 50MP sensor.

Aside from these hardware differences, other elements within V23e 5G and the standard V23e are rather identical. Both phones feature a 6.44-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display alongside 8GB of RAM and 128GB internal storage.

They also have 8MP ultra-wide and 2MP macro cameras within their rear camera module. Completing their general specifications is a 4050mAh battery that supports chargers with a power rating of up to 44W, although vivo has already provided a 44W FlashCharge charger for both phones right in the box.

Naturally, they are priced differently as the V23e 5G goes for RM1,599 while the standard V23e can be obtained for RM1,399. Both variants are now readily available for pre-order through vivo Malaysia’s E-Store, Lazada Flagship Store, and Shopee Mall store as well as authorised dealers throughout the country.
