Upcoming Samsung Fast Chargers Provide Up to 65W and Three USB Ports

Future Galaxy flagships may no longer be limited to 25W chargers.

Unlike brands such as OPPO, Infinix, and Xiaomi who have been pushing the limit of fast chargers with power ratings as high as 200W, Samsung seems to be a little cautious. For example, the fastest charger you can buy on Samsung Malaysia’s website right now is rated at 25W.

Things might change soon though if this new set of leaks from Roland Quandt of Winfuture is true. The tipster who has an amazing record over the years, has recently published two Samsung fast chargers that could be introduced next month.

One of them is the 65W Power Adapter Trio EP-T6530 which features two USB-C ports and one USB-A port. According to Roland, the first USB-C port is able to deliver the full 65W charging power while the second USB-C port goes up to 25W and the sole USB-A port maxed out at 15W.

Here is how the charger would perform when more than one USB port are being used simultaneously:

  • USB-C port 1 + USB-C port 2 = 40W + 25W
  • USB-C port 1 + USB-A = 50W + 15W
  • USB-C port 2 + USB-A = 25W + 15W
  • USB-C port 1 + USB-C port 2 + USB-A = 35W + 25W + 5W

Roland also noted that the Trio charge supports the USB Power Delivery (USB PD) standard and will be launched in mid-December for EUR59.90 (~RM284). On another hand, the other charger that has been leaked by the well-known tipster is a 45W charger with model number EP-T4510.

The charger comes with just one USB-C port and will be making its way into the market in early December with a price tag of EUR30 (~RM143). Its existence means that the next Galaxy flagships may be able to support more powerful fast chargers once again as compared to Galaxy S21 Ultra that is limited to 25W.
