Navigation apps have become an essential need for all Malaysians today. However, despite having these apps at hand, more often than not we still find ourselves following the wrong direction because of misunderstanding a route from the app itself.
Google in its latest blog announcement today revealed that the company has brought in improvements to the visual clarity in its Maps app. With the new update, Maps will now have better visual details added into its display for users to have a clearer view of the surrounding areas.
The company used a new color-mapping algorithm technique to provide a much in-depth visual improvement to the map display. Additionally, this update will now help users to have a better understanding of how a specific area would actually look like in person.
To further improve this feature, the company also stated that they will be including detailed street information for all of its users to know more about a certain road that they might want to use in the future.
By having this update now, we believe users will have a better experience when locating their destination in the future. Still, this is a feature worth noting if you are a regular user of Google Maps.
