We’re only a couple of months away from the release of Birds of Prey and the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn. It’s an exciting time to be a DC fan. While the first few films in the DC Universe were largely unsuccessful, either critically, financially or both, the post-Justice League era projects (and Wonder Woman) have been celebrated. Now we turn our eyes to Birds of Prey. While most of the marketing efforts in past months have centred around Margot Robbie’s Harley Quinn, there are a bunch of other characters in the film too such as Black Canary, Huntress, Renee Montoya and Black Mask.
Check out the awesome character posters below:
We previously reported that Warner Bros is now gunning for both Birds of Prey (and The SuicideS quad) to receive a similar MPAA rating as Joker. However, there will be differences in tone, of course. Cathy Yan’s Birds of Prey and the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn will not be as bleak as Joker. Instead, it will be as the marketing campaign has suggested so far, a colourful, highly energetic girl-group outing film that’s just not suitable for kids.
Birds of Prey synopsis:

Birds of Prey is written by Christina Hodson (Bumblebee), directed by Cathy Yan (Dead Pigs) and stars Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn, Mary Elizabeth Winstead as Huntress, Jurnee Smollett-Bell as Black Canary and Ewan McGregor as Black Mask.
