It’s been nearly half a year since ASUS introduced its ZenBook Duo and Zenbook Pro Duo to the world at Computex 2019. Today, the Taiwanese brand officially launched both notebooks in Malaysia.

To recap, both the Duo and Pro Duo are notebooks with a unique two-display design;. The second display, officially known as the ScreenPad Plus, occupies the upper half of the notebook’s base, and varies between Full HD or 4K resolutions, depending on the model.

Specs-wise, users have a choice between a 10th generation Intel Core i5 or Core i7 CPU, 8GB or 16GB DDR4 RAM, 512GB NVMe PCIe Gen3 storage with an additional NVMe expansion slot. an NVIDIA GeForce MX2590 GPU, and the usual accouterment USB-C, USB-A, and HDMI ports. For its main display, the Duo sport a 14-inch Full HD display, but does not support multi-touch.

Moving up the ladder, the ZenBook Pro Duo clearly promises a more immersive experience and comes with the chops to prove it. The main 15.6-inch display has a maximum resolution of 4K (3840 x 2160), as the ScreenPad Plus sitting below it.

Depending on your personal preference, the CPU is either a 9th generation Core i7-9750H or Core i9-9980HK, and both come with 32GB DDR4 RAM by default. The highlight of the Pro Duo, is the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 GPU nestled within. That makes its an ideal device for heavy-duty users, be it for gaming and 3D or professional design.

Regardless of the variants, both the Duo and Duo Pro are capable of utilising the new Wi-Fi 6 standard, thanks on no small part to the Intel Gig+ module inside them.

Naturally, and as you would expect, neither the ZenBook Duo and Pro Duo are going to come cheap. The ZenBook Duo with the Core i5 CPU will retail for RM4699, while the model with the Core i7 CPU will set you back RM5699.

As for the ZenBook Pro Duo, the model with the Core i7-9750H processor will cost a steep RM12999. However, the top-of-the-line variant of the Pro Duo comes with a hefty pricetag of RM15999.
