As per our earlier report, Samsung has officially launched its Galaxy M series smartphone in Malaysia. The specific model Samsung Malaysia will be bringing into the country is the Galaxy M20.
Specs-wise, the Samsung Galaxy M20 features an Exynos 7904 SoC, a 6.3-inch Full HD+ Infinity V display, and only one memory and storage configuration of the phone will be brought into the country, and that is the 4GB/64GB variant. The Galaxy M20 also comes with a dedicated microSD card slot, for expandable storage up to 512GB.
For security, the Galaxy M20 features a fingerprint scanner installed into the back of the phone.
A primary feature of the Galaxy M20 is its large 5000mAh non-removable battery, as 15W fast-charging capabilities. In terms of its camera, the phone’s main camera is a dual 13MP main and 5MP ultra wide-angle setup, while the front-facing camera uses a 8-megapixel sensor. Physical connectivity is handled through the phone’s USB-C port.
The Samsung Galaxy M20 will be available exclusively on Shopee, and will retail for RM799. In conjunction with the launch of the phone, Shopee will be holding an exclusive launch bundle on 20th March, where the first 1000 buyers who purchase a phone will receive a Logitech X50 Bluetooth speaker and a pair of JBL T450 headphones absolutely free of charge.
The next 2000 buyers will be entitled to the Logitech X50 as a free gift. Both groups will also be entitled to a RM100 cash voucher.
