Earlier this month, WeChat Pay MY has launched a promo where users are able to receive an instant rebate of RM 20 for purchases of at least RM 40 at Petron service stations. Given that consumers can actually use the rebate to even purchase petrol for their vehicles, the promo has immediately gained traction among consumers.
However, those who plan to utilize the rebate should do it as soon as possible as WeChat Pay MY has announced that the promo will be ending soon. Originally, the e-wallet provider stated that the promo will run until 31 January 2019.
While acknowledging the overwhelming response from consumers, WeChat Pay MY has pointed out that this promo is actually on a first come, first served basis. Hence, it is not surprising to us that the company is wrapping up the promo more than one month than it initially planned especially when the promo is becoming increasingly popular among users.
Despite that, WeChat Pay MY didn’t mention the exact conclusion date of the promo. That means you can either try your luck chasing it immediately or just wait till the next promo from the company.
