As many of us know, TM recently started to roll out massive bump in internet speeds for its unifi customers . While the routers that TM have provided to customers are able to get the job done, those who are more adventurous or have the need for more powerful network performance would usually replace them with after-market routers.

Among the most common after-market router brand that these users choose is ASUS, and the company has recently stated that its routers are capable to support unifi Turbo speeds. In fact, ASUS has also revealed which of its routers are optimum for specific unifi speeds:

100Mbps

  • RT-N800HP

200Mbps

  • RT-AC51U+

300Mbps

500Mbps

  • RT-AC66U
  • RT-AC67U
  • RT-AC68U
  • Lyra Trio

800Mbps

  • Blue Cave
  • RT-AC86U
  • RT-AC88U
  • RT–AC5300
  • ROG Rapture GT-AC5300

On top of being able to handle the new speeds, all the ASUS routers listed will be able to take advantage of its AiMesh technology. Unlike conventional mesh systems, AiMesh technology effectively offers a seamless roaming experience through a single SSID within the modem’s effective range.

Additionally, all ASUS routers come with other networking features, such as AiProtection, Adaptive QoS, and Parental Control to name a few.  To learn more about each router, head on over to ASUS’ official page.
