There are quite a number of Xiaomi physical stores in Malaysia right now, and it appears another one will be opening soon right here in Kuala Lumpur at Nu Sentral. In fact, it’s slated to be operational as early as next month.
More likely than not, this physical store will be similar to the other Authorised Mi Stores around Malaysia. It should carry Xiaomi’s range of smartphones, accessories, and perhaps even Mijia-branded products.
If this Authorised Mi Store is anything like the other outlets in Malaysia, there’s a good chance Xiaomi will run some form of promotion once the store is opened – we’ll definitely keep a close eye on this.
It’s great to see Xiaomi expanding its offline presence in Malaysia. Hopefully, the Chinese company will open more physical outlets outside of the Klang Valley area in the near future. The Authorised Mi Store in Nu Sentral is set to open sometime next month in April 2018 – if the outlets in Suria KLCC and IOI City Mall aren’t as accessible to you, perhaps you can check out the Nu Sentral one next month.
