Huawei has finally announced the availability of its limited edition Porsche Design Huawei Mate 10 in Malaysia. The device, which will retail for RM6,999, will go on sale from 8 December 2017.
In terms of hardware, the PD Mate 10 isn’t that much different from the regular Mate 10 Pro. They have the same exact dimensions and weight, and virtually the same hardware. The only difference is in the storage: at 256GB, it’s double the storage of the Mate 10 Pro.
The other difference lies in the exterior. Besides the exclusive Diamond Black colourway, the horizontal stripe of the Mate 10 Pro is switched with a vertical one on the Porsche Design Huawei Mate 10. The rear glass back is also treated with a ceramic-like finish. Finally, the Huawei logo at the bottom of the display is switched for Porsche Design, while the design firm’s logo is located at the back, below the fingerprint sensor.
Just like last year, the Porsche Design Huawei Mate 10 has some custom fonts and wallpapers that are only available on this phone. And in the box, the phone comes with a Porsche Design Leather Flip Case and a USB-C to 3.5mm headphone jack adapter.
The Porsche Design Huawei Mate 10 will be available at all Huawei Experience Stores and Display Zones nationwide from 8 December onwards, in the exclusive Diamond Black colourway.
