You Can Now Buy the OnePlus 3T for RM1,789

The OnePlus 3T is now more affordable than ever in Malaysia. Originally retailing at RM2,229, the 2016 flagship can now be purchased for as low as RM1,789 – that’s a pretty generous price cut.

DirectD is currently offering the OnePlus 3T for RM1,799, and it can be purchased from the retailer’s physical outlets or online store here. Of course, these are official units with warranty by Brightstar Malaysia.

As usual, we looked at how much the OnePlus 3T is going for on e-commerce sites too, and we found a retailer selling the device for slightly lower at RM1,789 on Lazada. Alternatively, OnePlus’ official store on Shopee is listing the OnePlus 3T at RM2,049; not quite as good of a deal as DirectD’s or Lazada’s, but it’s still lower than the phone’s RM2,299 launch price.

For that kind of money, the OnePlus 3T offers a 5.5-inch 1080p Optic AMOLED display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 chipset paired with 6GB of RAM, 64GB of non-expandable storage, and a 3,400mAh battery. It also comes with a 16MP rear camera – complete with optical image stabilisation – and a 16MP front-facing shooter.

If you don’t quite fancy the OnePlus 3T, the soon to be discontinued OnePlus 5 certainly offers a better feature set, though it also costs considerably more.
